Fine Arts

The arts provide students with opportunities to develop and sharpen their critical thinking skills.  Critical thinking involves logical thinking and reasoning including skills such as comparing and contrasting, classifying, making analogies, deductive reasoning, planning, making hypotheses, and using critiquing skills.

In order for our students to be successful after graduation, they will need these skills to be competitive in the business world of the 21st Century.

Our programming provides opportunities for students to learn and exercise these important skills through basic, intermediate, and advanced level courses in both the visual and performing art classes.  We also offer music theory and music production, computer graphics, and three levels of computer animation.
