Vision of PHS School Counseling Department

The vision of the Phoebus School Counseling Program is to empower and equip all students with the knowledge, tools, skills, and information necessary to achieve academic, personal/social, and career success and reach their fullest potential as respectful, responsible citizens. 

Mission 

The school counseling team at Phoebus High School seeks to provide a comprehensive, developmental, counseling program, advocate for an environment that supports high achievement, and decrease barriers to learning for all students.  In collaboration with other educators, families, and communities, this comprehensive school counseling program will assist students with becoming effective learners, responsible citizens, and productive members of a global society.

Hampton City Schools is now offering a secure site for former students to access transcripts, attendance, and employment verifications.

Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.

You may request records in person at:

Office hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

You must bring a picture ID. There is a $5.00 processing fee, per document. We accept cash or money orders only. Records will only be released to the individual that the records belong to or to the parent or legal guardian of students under the age of 18.

If the student did not graduate from Hampton City Schools, the student will need to contact the last school attended.
