SCHOLARSHIP through Hampton Roads Educator Credit Union (HRECU)

HRECU has scholarship opportunities available for both employees and dependents:

  1. Laura W. Twyford Memorial Scholarship (3 for $1,000 each)

· High School Seniors pursuing a degree in education

· Attend school within our field of membership, membership not required

Career Development Scholarship (1 for $1,000)

· High School Seniors pursuing a degree, certification or license in any field other than education

· Attend school within our field of membership

Naomi J. Chadwick Memorial Scholarship (1 for $1,000)

· High School Seniors pursuing a 4-year degree in any area of study

· Need Based Scholarship

· Must be a member for a minimum of 2 years

· Not required to attend school in our field of membership

Post Graduate Studies Scholarship (1 for $1,500)

· School employees pursing a master’s degree or higher

· Must work in a school within our field of membership

· Must be a member

Educational Advancement Scholarship (1 for $1,500)

· School employees pursing a bachelors or associates degree

· Must be a member
